The small town of Positano is famous the world over for the beauty of its landscapes, handicrafts and excellent cuisine and, above all, for the atmosphere of its characteristic alleyways. For lovers of the seaside, Positano offers the Spiaggia Grande and Spiaggia Fornillo beaches.  Three miles off the coast are the Gallos (Italian:Li Galli), or Sirenusas (Italian: Sirenuse), a small archipelago of three little islands. In order to fully enjoy the wonders of this stretch of coastline, we suggest hiring a gozzo (a typical local boat) for a trip along the coast.  A view of this region from the sea will make any visitor’s experience truly complete. Pertessa is a delightful apartment which has been recently renovated and is situated in a central and particularly panoramic position.  The apartment is distributed over three levels and has all mod cons.  There are food stores around 200 m away, whereas the beach is around 500 m away.  Thanks to a convenient bus service, with a bus-stop near the apartment, it is possible to easily reach a number of localities near Positano: Sorrento, Praiano, Amalfi.  From Positano, guests can organize wonderful trips along the whole Amalfi Coast, or visit Naples which is 50 Km away, or the archaeological excavations of Pompeii.   Pertessa is ideal for anyone who does not want to come by car, in fact Positano is very well served by public transport.
