This ancient stone building dates back to 1700 and is situated in a small country village along the road linking Bucine to the beautiful medieval town of Civitella Val di Chiana. The villa is particularly suitable for hosting large groups whilst also offering guests a high level of privacy since all the bedrooms are independent. The pleasantly furnished indoors areas are distributed over three floors. Outside there is a beautiful garden with a table and chairs for relaxing and eating “al fresco”. A little bit higher up is the swimming pool (9 x 20 m; depth 1.5 m) for the exclusive use of guests, and a gazebo. The property is situated halfway between Siena and Arezzo and is very convenient for visiting the wonderful art cities of Tuscany by car or by train. Florence can be easily reached from the railway station in Bucine which is just 5 Km away. Many walking routes start in the vicinity of the villa which are perfect for guests who enjoy strolling in the peaceful countryside. There is a food shop and restaurant just 500 meters away in the small village of Badia Agnano. Bucine has a variety of different stores. On request it is possible to organize suppers, lunches and cookery courses focusing on Tuscan cuisine, as well as visits to the local wineries to taste their products, or to the outlet stores of many famous Italian high fashion brands such as Prada.
